“Venom 2” at Screenville

       A serial killer becomes the host of the symbiote Carnage and escapes prison after a failed execution in the sequel, “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” now showing at ICM Screenville Cinema 4 and Alturas Screenville Cinema 2.    

“VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.

         Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy-“Mad Max: Fury Road”) struggles to adjust to his new life as the host of the alien symbiote Venom, which grants him super-human abilities in order to be a lethal vigilante. However, his life goes on the uphill when he attempts to reignite his career by interviewing serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson).   

         A strange encounter prior to Cletus execution leaves a portion of Venom inside of Cletus giving birth to Carnage. He escapes to free his mutant girlfriend, and Brock and Venom once again step the fight to stop them before innocent lives are lost.

“Eternals”

       A fantasy thriller from Marvel Comics about an immortal alien race which emerges from hiding after thousands of years to protect Earth from their ancient counterparts.     

       The saga of the Eternals now begins following the events of 2019 film “Avengers: Endgame” when an unexpected tragedy forces the Eternals, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years, out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, the Deviants.

“No Time To Die” 

Sneak Preview at Screenville

         The world’s famous spy has left active service with MI6 and recruited by the CIA to find a kidnapped scientist in the much-awaited 25th James Bond film, “No Time To Die”, which will have its sneak preview tomorrow, Monday, December 13, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.

         Bond (Daniel Craig) is retired and enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

          The deadly theft of a weaponized virus that can target a specific person’s DNA brings Bond back to the fold. He’s been replaced at MI6 by a new 007 named Nomi and James doesn’t really trust M. He’s convinced M knows more about the new threat.

3-Day Holiday Sale at ICM, Alturas Mall

        It’s another shopping adventure this Yuletide season with savings galore as Island City Mall will hold a 3-day Holiday Sale this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; December 17, 18, and 19. 

        The sale blitz continues on December 20, 21, and 22, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, as Alturas Mall will have a separate 3-day Holiday Sale on those dates. 

       Both Island City Mall and Alturas Mall offer big discounts of up to 70% on a wide range of brands and products at the Home & Fashion Department and participating tenant shops.  

        Two other Alturas stores offer up to 70% off on great selections at the Home & Fashion Department in their respective 3-day Christmas sale on December 15, 16, and 17, at Alturas-Tubigon; and  December 17, 18, and 19, at Alturas-Talibon.      

Meanwhile, in anticipation for the holiday rush, Island City Mall will extend its mall hours from 9:30 am until 9 pm on December 22, 23, 29 and 30; but the Supermarket opens earlier at 8 am until 9 pm, while the Home & Fashion Department is from 9 am to 8 pm on those dates.       

On Christmas Eve, December 24, the mall is open from 9:30 am to 8 pm, Supermarket from 8 am to 8 pm, and Home & Fashion Department from 9 am to 8 pm; while on Christmas Day, December 25, the mall, including its Supermarket and Home & Fashion Department, is open late at 10 am until 8 pm.             

On New Year’s Eve, December 31, the mall is open from 9:30 am to 8 pm, Supermarket from 7:30 am to 8 pm, and Home & Fashion Department from 9 am to 8 pm; while on New Year’s Day, January 1, Island City Mall is closed.
