Atong padayónon pagtála ang mga lugpong sa Binisaya alang sa mga sakit, apán, ug balatian nga nagsugod sa Ininglis nga “gelid” hangtod sa “hemorrhoid“.

Mga Lugpong 

1. gelid (very cold) – nangámig, bugnaw kayo, tugnaw kaayo 

2. gene (for genetic code) – lúmat 

3. giddy (dizzy) – lúrong, lípong. Syn. alungaog, bangóg, duóg-duóg 

4. gleet (thin, morbid discharge, as from a wound) – isa. Syn. nangnang 

5. glossitis (incrustation on the tongue) – ugám. Syn. tagmaya 

6. glum (moody and silent) – lamúgdong, tungók. Syn. hinúktok, pút-ok 

7. glut (feed to excess) – purâ 

8. glutton (one who eats to excess) – buhahákon, busawón, dúslog, hamogán, hingaon, kingaón, ngalúngaló, palakaón, tagawhangan. Syn. ulit, ulitán 

9. gluttony (habit of eating to excess) – kaulit. Syn. hakóg, kahakóg, dalô, dawó, laog, pagkalaog 

10. goggleeyed (eyes that goggle) – suliráw 

11. goiter (enlargement of the thyroid gland) – bugnán, bugól, bósyo (Sp.) 

12. goliwog (grotesque person) – al-ál, balaghal 

13. gonorrhea (kind of venereal disease) –tabukáw, gonoréya (Sp.). Syn. alupálan 

14. gorbelly (potbelly, large belly) – pus-onon 

15. gorgon (hideously ugly woman) – hákay, brúha (Sp.). Syn. únglo, úngò 

16. gourmand (glutton) – burábog, buhahákon, dakóg káon, hamuáyaw, hinúd-an, makán, tamasa, ulit, ulitan 

17. gout (kind of disease) –habúyhaboy 

18. grievous1 (causing grief or sorrow) – kamahayan, makamáhay, makapaguól 

19. grievous2 (causing pain) – makapasakit 

20. gripe1 (sharp pain in the bowels) – suól, suol sa tiyan 

21. grippe (influenza) – trangkaso (Sp.) 

22. groggy4 (uncoordinated as sickness) – alungaog, duóg, duóg-duóg, lambúyod 

23. grotesque1 (bizarre) – ál-al, bukatot, balaghal 

24. grotesque2 (distorted) – hibat 

25. gruel1 (exhausted by hard work) – hágò. Syn. akód, búdlay, kápoy 

26. hairless1 (no body hairs; pelon) – punas 

27. hairless2 (no hairs on head) – upáw, kálbo (Sp.) 

28. hairy (plenty of hairs in the body, arms, legs; comate) – balhiboón, balbón (Sp.) 

29. hale (robust) – halong. Syn. hímsog 

30. halfbreed (having parents of different racial stock) – libóg, mestiso (Sp.), tisoy 

31. halfcaste (having parents of different caste or race) – kaláhi-tungá, sánit. Syn. libóg 

32. halfwit (feebleminded person) – kulangkulang, kuwángkuwáng 

33. halitosis (bad breath) – baho og ginhawa; bahóg ginháwa, bahóg baba 

34. hallucination1 (half-asleep) – alimúngaw. Syn. damag 

35. hallucination2 (mistaken notion) – salimuang. Syn. alimuang, dánag

36. hallucinosis (mental disorder of persistent hallucination) – salimuangón 

37. handicap1 (defect) – apán. Syn, kabilinggan 

38. handicap2 (hardship) – kakulian, sad-áng 

39. handicap3 (hindrance) – báwbaw, kaulangan, bikil 

40. harebrained (foolish; flighty) – hangálhangál, dingás 

41. harelip (fissure at upperlip) – bungî, gibáng 

42. harm (injury) – diot, kadaot. 

43. harmful (can do harm) – makadaot, 

44. headache labád, labád sa úlo, didipón 

45. headscar (no more hair) – pahak. Syn, ulat, uwát sa úlo 

46. heal1 (a wound) – alim, úpay 

47. heal2 (cure) – ayo 

48. heal3 (of bone dislocation) – lútang 

49. health1 (good physical condition) – maayong lawas. Syn. hímsog 

50. health2 (soundness of any living organism) – alimgas 

51. healthy1 (robust) – himsog 

52. healthy2 (term for healthy plants) – hamilsing 

53. hearing aid (device for improving the hearing capability) – tabungól 

54. heartache1 (sad) – bákhò sa kasingkasing 

55. heartache2 (sorrow) – kaguol, kasubó, basúni sa kasingkasing 

56. heart attack (cardiac arrest) – ataki sa kasing-kásing, hámpak sa hanging itom 

57. heartbreak (overwhelming sorrow) – hilap sa kasingkasing. Syn. langiob 

58. heartbroken (overwhelming grief) — kasubo nga hilabihan, hilabihan nga kaguól 

59. heartburn (acidity; cardialgia) –bidli. Syn. luod, ngilngig 

60. heart disease (abnormal condition of the heart) – sakit sa kasingkasing 

61. heart enlargement (the heart becomes unusually large) – babúyon 

62. heartrending (emotional anguish) – makahilap sa kasingkasing 

63. heartsick1 (deeply disappointed) – máhay, minghoy 

64. heartsick2 (despondent) – húkdong, sagúk-oy 

65. heat exhaustion (mild form of heat stroke)-aginso, agisod 

66. heavyhearted (melancholy; depressed; sad) – masulób-on, magul-unon 

67. hectic fever (daily rise in body temperature) – laubláob. Syn. dagágdang, pakúgkog 

68. helminthiasis (disorder caused by intestinal worms) – bitokón, gibitók 

69. hematemesis (to vomit blood) – súgpà 

70. hematoma1 (swelling)- giálon. Syn. bún-og 

71. hematoma2 (with pus inside) – bunól, alálom 

72. hematuria (bloody urine) – mangihi og dugo 

73. hemicrania (migraine) – hingaw, hinglaw 

74. hemiplegia (paralysis of one side of the body) – pilay katungáng kilid sa lawas 

75. hemophilia (disorder of immoderate bleeding) – madug-ánon 

76. hemophiliae (bleeder) – dug-ánon 

77. hemoptysis (spitting up of blood especially from the lungs) – súgpà 

78. hemorrhage1 (continuous flow of blood) – talinúgó 

79. hemorrhage2 (copious blood discharge) – awak, bulósan 

80. hemorrhage3 (menstruation that flows like a hemorrhage) – tubátob. Syn, sagiwsiw, subaan 

81. hemorrhoid1 (piles) – kulitol; almuránas (Sp.) 

82. hemorrhoid2 (the type that tends to puff out) -bútbor
