The Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) reported on Dec. 9, 2021, it has inoculated 40% of the province’s target population, a report by the Philippine Information Agency said on Dec. 14, 2021.
The BIATF explained that the target population is 70% of the actual population of the province or those individuals residing in Bohol who need to get protected against the Coronavirus disease (Covid).
This means the target population is pegged at 961, 872 Boholanos, according to the PIA’s report.
If we consider the actual population of Bohol, the BIATF has inoculated only 27.43% .
There are about 1.394 million Boholanos based on the latest census conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
It has also been reported that over a million vaccine doses have been received by the BIATF from the national government.
