Alturas reaches out to typhoon victims

In the aftermath of Typhoon Odette, Alturas Group of Companies (AGC), through its Alay Marcela Foundation, immediately responds to the needs of the victims distributing thousands worth of relief goods just to ensure everyone has food to eat.

ALTURAS BAYANIHAN for Typhoon Odette victims

A timely gesture of love and compassion on Christmas day, AGC delivered 450 bags of rice (50 kilos each) yesterday, December 25, to the different barangays of the badly-hit towns of Ubay, Alicia, Pilar, and more.

In coordination with AGC, ABS-CBN breezed into town last Thursday, December 23, providing food packs to the victims in Ubay, Talibon, and other towns, through its “Sagip Kapamilya,” an emergency humanitarian assistance program of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc.

AGC also joins with fastfood chain Jollibee for the FoodAID which offers ready-to-eat hot meals starting today, December 26, in the towns of Ubay, Talibon, Inabanga, Alicia, Loboc, and more. Ayala Foundation will also partner with AGC in the distribution of goods to the affected communities within this week.

The corporate social responsibility arm of the Alturas Group of Companies, Alay Marcela Foundation is always in the forefront of extending hands and reaching out to the community, fulfilling its mission of a continuous humanitarian undertaking, espousing and propagating the Bayanihan spirit.
