Gov. Arthur Yap said that there is no need to engage in panic buying of fuel as there is enough supply for Bohol.
This is the statement of the governor after residents have been lining up at gasoline stations to buy gasoline and other fuel products in bulk.
It has been reported that there have been some fuel products either in short supply or on depleted status.
The governor said that he has already spoken with Ramon Ang of Petron Corporation and officials of other fuel companies to boost the fuel supply coming into Bohol.
Panic buying has been pointed as the culprit for the traffic and long lines at gasoline stations.
Moreover, Dauis mayor Marietta Sumaylo said that there is no need to panic as there is enough supply of fuel.
