The Bohol 2 Electric Cooperative (Boheco 2), in the midst of restoration activities of the toppled power lines, reported that around 74 linemen of distribution utilities (DU) from other areas of the country have arrived in Bohol to provide help.
The linemen are from the following DUs: Camarines Norte Electric Cooperative, Camarines Sur 1, 2, 3, 4 Electric Cooperatives, First Catanduanes Electric Cooperative, Sorsogon Electric Cooperative 1 and 2, Ticao Island Electric Cooperative, and Masbate Electric Cooperative.
This batch ot linemen arrived on Dec. 29, 2021 via a special trip from Ormoc-Mandaue-Tubigon. The linemen brought with them a boom-truck, tools and operation vehicles.
BOHECO II, in cooperation with partners is continuously working to restore the electric distribution lines and facilities to reinstate the electricity in the different affected areas the soonest time possible.
BOHECO II and the member-consumers-owners of the entire area covered by BOHECO II, are immensely grateful for the help of other DUs in expediting the restoration of the power distribution lines.
