NOW SHOWING

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” at Screenville

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, the friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and asks help from Doctor Strange to hide his identity again, but the stakes become even more dangerous in the third installment of the blockbuster film series, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is now showing at ICM Screenville Cinema 3 and 4, and Alturas Screenville Cinema 1.

The film is actually a sequel to “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in 2017 and “Spider-Man: Far From Home” in 2019, as well as a crossover to the “Spider-Man” and “The Amazing Spider-Man” film series, which stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield respectively.

In the film, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) asks Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch-“Star Trek Into Darkness”) to use magic to make his Spider-Man identity a secret again following its public revelation at the end of “Spider-Man: Far From Home.” He wants him to cast a spell to make people forget he is Spider-Man because his responsibilities are in conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk.

When the spell goes wrong, the multiverse is broken open which allows the most powerful villains and heroes from alternate realities to enter Parker’s universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the multiverse.

COMING SOON

“The Matrix: Resurrection” at Screenville

“THE MATRIX: RESURRECTIONS” will premiere on Wednesday, January 12, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.

A sequel set sixty years after the events of “The Matrix Revolutions” in 2003 where the Matrix itself is now stronger, more secure and more dangerous than ever before, “The Matrix: Resurrection” will premiere on Wednesday, January 12, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.

John Wick star Keanu Reeves reprises his role as Neo who now lives a seemingly ordinary life as a video game developer troubled with distinguishing dreams from reality. A group of rebels, with the help of a programmed version of Morpheus, free Neo from a new version of the Matrix and fight a new enemy that holds Trinity captive.
The film is a continuation of the story in the Matrix trilogy. To find out if his reality is a physical or mental construct, Neo, will have to choose to follow the white rabbit once more. If he’s learned anything, it’s that choice, while an illusion, is still the only way out of — or into — the Matrix.
