Atty. Trisha thanks donors of aid to typhoon victims

The daughter of first district Cong. Edgar Chatto and Balilihan mayor Pureza  Chatto has thanked the donors who provided aid to those affected by the typhoon Odette.
She said several people in her town of Balilihan lost their homes. As a result, one of the urgent concerns is to find construction materials like galvanized iron (GI) sheets to repair roofs that were damaged by the onslaught of the typhoon.
Trisha said that there were kind hearted people who donated sums of money. She narrated that at least P390,980 in donated funds so were received from various donors.
“We used these donations to buy GI sheets, tarpaulin materials, umbrella nails, water tanks and other materials. We started distributing them to those who requested for assistance in the repair of their homes / roofs and the provision of drinking water,” she said in a Facebook post.
As Trisha thanked the donors, she emphasized that there are other residents whose houses needed to be repaired or rebuilt.
“There are still many more houses to be rebuilt and roofs to be repaired. For anyone who wishes to help Balilihan, please feel free to message me,” the daughter of the first district solon who is also running for vice mayor of Balilihan town said.
Trisha listed some of the donors and they are family of Eladio and Victoria Chatto, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, Atty. John Paulo Carreon Ronquillo, Dr. Marimel Amores, Attys. Lance Ortiz and Daphne Marcelo, Atty. Vada Rodriguez, Atty. Detdet Eugenio, Atty. Mikmik Tumacder, Atty. Genie Cariño, Carlo Barrientos, Frances Siapno, Atty. Alvin Pasicolan, Ram Adrias, Atty. Dicky Salazar, Waves for Water 5 Loaves 2 Fish PH, LABB Construction, Xamae Labunog-Trotin, CM Construction, Camille Maluenda, PT Construction, Mae Angelyn Te, Dr. Salud Bagalso, Antonio and Consolacion Atienza and anonymous donors, with special thanks to Vice President Leni Robredo for foam mats.
