Baclayon councilor distributes water to town’s typhoon victims

People of Baclayon councilor Jodel Theodore Cabahug facilitated the distribution of water to people affected by typhoon Odette in the said town.
In a Facebook post, Cabahug said that as of the last week of December 2021, he was able to distribute around 500 5-gallon containers of purified drinking water under his initiative called “Operation Free Drinking Water”. 
He also helped in the provision of a generator set to a water refilling station, which was not able to operate as the power was cut off following the onslaught of the typhoon.
As this developed, Cabahug thanked several key donors who were instrumental in realizing the distribution of drinking water  to some residents of Baclayon.
Among those whom Cabahug thanked for their contribution to the cause are: Engr. Ronnie Tiu and family of Cebu 7H Technochem Industries, Leonor Sumalpong of Wa-Thirst, Vice Mayor Romulo Balangkig, Talan family, Coun. Romulo Caballo,  Barangay Captain Ulysses Tomarong of Taguihon  and other donors from within the country and abroad.
