The City of Tagbilaran continues with its vaccination drive. The resumption of the vaccination was scheduled on Jan. 4 and 6 , 2022 at the Booy Covered Court and Bool Elementary School, respectively. Booster shots, 1st and 2nd doses, were administered during the said dates and venues, the City Media Bureau reports.
The National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) of the Department of Health (DOH) has lauded the efforts of Tagbilaran City for the latter’s vaccination achievement where about 99.04% of the city’s residents are already fully vaccinated, reports say.
City Mayor John Geesnell Yap  II encouraged all the Tagbilaranons to take an active part in the vaccination drive, especially now that there is an alarming increase of Coronavirus disease (Covid) cases in the country as monitored by the OCTA Research Group in its report released by the Philippine Daily Inquirer on December 31, 2021.
In the same report, it was said that new Covid cases increased to 1,623. The hike in the number of cases can be attributed to holiday-related mobility and gatherings. The DOH reminded the public to  strictly adhere to health protocol.

The Office of the Building Official (OBO) requires the certificate of occupancy, but for old buildings (those which existed since 1978 and earlier), submission of a certification from licensed structural experts are needed.
As far as the Bureau of Fire Protection is concerned, new businesses need to fill out the unified application form with the assessment of fees, official receipt of real property tax and certificate of occupancy from Office of Building Official (OBO).
