VG Rene meets Bohol DILG officers re typhoon relief distribution

In order to ensure a fair distribution of aid from the national government and ther agencies to the different local government units (LGU), Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos  met with the different Local Government Operations Officers from the towns and the City of Tagbilaran on Jan. 6, 2022.
Bohol Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) provincial director Jerome Gonzales  was also in attendance in the meeting held at the Ceremonial Hall of the New Provincial Capitol.
The main agendum of the meeting was to have verified set of data to be sent to National Government Agencies (NGA).
According to Provincial Administrator Kathyrin Pioquinto, a number of NGAs have been asking for the right data so that they can start sending their respective relief operation packages and goods in coordination with the Provincial Government of Bohol.
Meanwhile, Gov. Arthur Yap said he is closely monitoring the status of the victims, especially those situated in critical areas. Gov. Yap further revealed that the relief operations are ongoing especially in the island barangays who were severely hit by the super typhoon.
