Gov. Arthur Yap personally delivered and turned over a mobile water purification system to the local government unit (LGU) of Alicia, according to a report by the Provincial Information and Media Relations (PRIMER).

The governor turned over the said equipment on Jan. 9, 2022, the report adds.

The mobile water purification system has one water tanker, 3 trucks with mounted purification systems capable of purifying water in 3 stages.

The mobile water purification system was donated by the province of Pampanga, the report bares.

The purification system is a huge help for the people of Alicia town who are in dire need of clean drinking water.

Yap thanked former President and former House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Pampanga governor Dennis Pineda, and Vice Gov. Lilia Pineda for heeding the call of the Provincial Government of Bohol for a mobile water purification system.

The mobile water purification system is staying in Alicia for a week and will move to another location and serve other Bohol towns, the PRIMER in its report said.
