Tubigon mayor William Jao (inset, upper left corner) reports that the members of the Department of Social Welfare and Development financial aid distribution team were deployed on Jan. 13, 2022 to the 6 island-barangays of the said town. The island barangays are Bagongbanwa, Batasan, Bilangbilangan, Mocaboc, Pangapasan, and Ubay islands. The residents from the island-barangays belong to the first batch of recipients of the financial aid from the DSWD, as the barangay officials promptly reported the number of affected families in their respective jurisdictions.
