Woman climbs Globe’s tower in Dauis

A woman climbs the Globe Telecoms tower located in Dauis town, reports say.

The report adds that the incident happened at around 5:30 pm on Jan. 11, 2022 in purok 5, barangay Totolan, Dauis.
The woman, Rhea (not her real name), 20, with live-in partner, of barangay Totolan, Dauis.

Reports add that the woman, Rhea (not her real name) is 20 years old, with a live-in partner and currently residing at Totolan, Dauis town.
Rhea  was seen by witnesses climbing her way to the top of the cellular tower late afternoon of Jan. 11, 2022..

It was learned that prior to the incident where the woman climbed the tower, she had a conversation with her live-in partner. The woman, reportedly, told her live-in partner that she was teased by some children.
The woman then forced her way into the tower’s perimeter as her live-in partner tried to prevent the former from entering the area where the tower is located.
Witnesses asked the operators to shut the tower down for the safety of the woman.

Eventually, the woman relented and went down on her own. The Dauis Emergency Rescue Unit checked the woman for possible injuries, but found none.
