Bohol has a new Commission on Election (Comelec) provincial election supervisor who is from Negros Oriental replacing Eliseo Labaria, according to reports.
Reports add that Eddie Aba is set to take the helm of Comelec in Bohol.
This comes as provincial heads of Comelec office were reshuffled ahead of the national and local polls in May 2022.
Aba already experienced an assignment in Bohol during the 2019 elections.
Labaria is now the new provincial election supervisor in Siquijor.
Moreover,Lionel Castillano, the provincial election supervisor of Cebu has assumed his post as the new head of Comelec Negros Oriental.
Jerome Brillantes of Siquijor-Comelec is now assigned to Cebu province.
The order for the reshuffling was signed by Comelec Chairman Sheriff Abas on Jan. 6, 2022.
