Police arrest 2 wanted suspects in separate operations

The police arrested two wanted suspects in separate operations, reports from the Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) said on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022.

Bien Unido police reported that they arrested the 4th most wanted person in the town following an operation on Jan. 26, 2022.

The suspect is identified as a certain Vicente A. Gilgon, Jr., 32, of Purok 3, Nueva Estrella, Bien Unido town.

The suspect was arrested in connection to his alleged 2 counts of violation of the Anti-Child Abuse Law.

The police were armed with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Azucena C. Macalolot-Credo of Regional Trial Court branch 101 based in Talibon.

The bail for the suspect’s provisional liberty was pegged at P400,000.

Meanwhile, Tagbilaran City Police Station reports that the 6th most wanted suspect in the city was arrested after an operation on Jan. 26, 2022.

The suspect is identified as a certain Ryan Robencedo, 41, of Rizal Street, Sacred Heart, barangay Poblacion 2, Tagbilaran City.

The police bared that the suspect is being accused of the crime of theft.

Furthermore, the police were armed with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Labeth Varquez of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) branch 1 based in Tagbilaran City.

The bail for the suspect’s temporary liberty was set at P12,000.
