VG Rene backs Laum Bohol prog.

Knowing and acknowledging the vital and essential role of the Boholano youth in the various programs, projects and activities of the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) and in nation building as a whole, Vice Gov. Rene Lopez Relampagos has expressed his full support to the Laum Bohol Program under the Provincial Youth Development Office.

Since the time it was launched, Laum Bohol has been continuing with the realization of its vision of giving hope to the Boholano people especially during this ongoing pandemic and the recent severe damage brought about by typhoon Odette.
Laum Bohol has been engaging into various activities and programs to respond to the unavoidable difficulties and worries the people are facing in their day-to-day existence.
The Laum Bohol program has conducted its first leg of #Barug Bohol Mental Health and Psycho Social Support (MHPSS) in the towns of Ubay, Talibon, Alicia, Bien Unido, Loboc, Clarin, President Carlos P. Garcia, and  Inabanga for the entire month of January 2022.
The program has provided much-needed Psychological First Aid (PFA) to at least 3,569 survivors of typhoon Odette from the said municipalities.
Relampagos wholeheartedly lauds the people behind Laum Bohol, specifically the different local government units (LGU) concerned, the faculty, staff and student-volunteers from Laum Bohol, Bohol Island State University, University of Bohol, Holy Name University, Pagpakabuhi, Kalinaw-Mental Wellness, Diocesan Commission on Youth – Tagbilaran, Velez College, University of San Carlos, and Cebu Doctors’ University.
