GETTING HELP FROM ABROAD

Gov. Arthur Yap (right) engages in a meeting with Melanie Ruiz, the operations manager of Frence-based non government organization (NGO) Humanity and Inclusion. Ruiz met with Yap on Feb. 2, 2022 to inform the latter about the NGO’s plan for Bohol especially in helping those who have been impacted by typhoon Odette. The NGO has identified several beneficiaries whose homes were damaged by the typhoon and said beneficiaries will receive construction materials from the NGO. Moreover, Ruiz said that the NGO she is representing will also conduct disease surveillance and training in some towns heavily affected by the typhoon. The organization will soon start its distribution of hygiene kits and medicines to the typhoon victims.
