Dauis mayor reports survey showing Josever’s lead over rival in mayoralty race

Mayor Marietta Sumaylo

Last-term Dauis mayor Marietta Sumaylo reported that a survey was conducted showing Liga ng mga Barangay Dauis chapter president and Tabalong barangay captain Josever Sumaylo leading in the mayoralty race in the said town.
Mayor Sumaylo said that 80% of respondents prefer Barangay Captain Sumaylo over rival Roman “Amoi” Bullen.
The said survey was conducted on Feb. 4, 2022, the mayor said in her Facebook post.
The mayor issued a disclaimer in the same Facebook post that the Sumaylo camp did not commission the survey.

It was not mentioned who commissioned the survey and how many respondents were involved in the said survey.

Mayor Sumaylo, in the same Facebook post, thanked the people of Dauis for their continued trust and confidence.

Mayor Sumaylo, the outgoing local chief executive of Dauis, is running for vice mayor. She is the running mate of her husband, Barangay Captain Sumaylo, who is running for mayor of the said town.
