One of Pundok Padayon Bol-anon’s stalwarts, Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos, revealed that the local political coalition is still conducting consultations to determine who among the national candidates it will support in the May 2022 polls.

Relampagos made the revelation in a radio interview over Open Forum on Feb. 9, 2022 hosted by Atty. Greg Austral and Dave Albarado.

The vice governor said that the coalition has ample time to make the decision on who to support in the national level.

He said that the campaign for local candidates will start on March 25, 2022 and by then, he expects that the group shall have gotten a decision.

Padayon Bol-anon is not a political party but a group of politicians belonging to different political parties in Bohol.

Relampagos said that as an organization, Padayon Bol-anon practices consultative and participative style of governance, thus listening to the different sectors that make up the group.

The campaign of the candidates for president, vice president, senators and party-list representatives started on Feb. 8, 2022.
