Police probe Boholana caretaker’s death in Cebu

Police are now investigating the cause and circumstances around the death of Boholana caretaker in Cebu, reports say.

Reports indicate that a certain Marivic Jabonelo, a native of Bien Unido town, was found dead on Feb. 19, 2022.

She was a caretaker of a compound in Danao City, according to the police.

The reports say that the victim was last seen alive on Feb. 16, 2022 when she returned to the compound after getting her second dose of the Coronavirus disease (Covid) vaccine.

Initial investigation reveals that the compound’s head caretaker, found the victim’s lifeless body after the former checked on the former.

It was reported that Jabonelo failed to get her salary and this is the reason the head caretaker, identified as Alex Tamayo Gayas, went to look for the victim.

The police are now looking for clues to determine the real cause of the victim’s death.
