Rodel P. Garcia & Lovena Amor B. Laag 3rd Wedding Anniversary
On February 17, 2011, Rodel Garcia went to the mayor’s office of Talibon, Bohol for an interview in relation to his application for membership in the Philippine National Police (PNP).
That interview paved the way for Rodel to meet Lovena Amor Laag. Both Rodel and Rowena were 21 years old when they first met. They became good friends and like any love story, the friendship developed into a close relationship. They became officially “on” on January 1, 2012. After seven (7) years of a wholesome relationship, he proposed to marry her.
This March 16, 2022, both will be celebrating their 3rd year wedding anniversary.
Rodel, the groom, is now a police officer of the PNP. He son of Rodrigo C. Garcia & Elvisa P. Garcia of San Agustin, Talibon, Bohol. Lovena Amor Laag, the bride, is from San Jose, Talibon and when they got married, she worked as a nurse at the Via Medica International Healthcare. She is the daughter of Victor Q. Laag & Celerina B. Laag.
Their wedding ceremony, 3 years ago, started at 3:00 in the afternoon at the St. Joseph Cathedral, Tagbilaran City with Fr. Adolfo E. Dagohoy Jr. as main celebrant and Fr. Sinforiano J. Monton as concelebrant.
The wedding banquet that followed the church ceremony was held at the Dagohoy Grand Hall of the Bohol Tropics Resort. Wedding coordinator was YOWEV of Ma. Annecris Coritico-Barrete and covering the event for photography was Rock Paper Scissors Photography and Superseven for videography.
Chandymar Araneta Batoy of “SMILE”, Philippines and of the Bohol Tribune, Inc. acted as master of ceremonies during the wedding banquet.
