PDEA Central Visayas declares 5 brgys. in Bohol as drug-free

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Central Visayas (CV) has declared five barangays in Bohol as “drug-free”, according to the latest information released by the said agency.

The PDEA CV’s Regional Oversight Committee convened by way of a blended face-to-face and virtual meeting to deliberate the application of barangays in Central Visayas to be declared as drug-free.

The said committee declared barangay Catam-is Baslay and Taytay in Loon; Geconacan, Tubigon; barangay Lapacan Norte, Inabanga; and barangay Lungsodaan, Candijay as drug-free barangays.

Officials from PDEA Bohol joined the deliberation together with other stakeholders via Zoom, according to reports.

Meanwhile, as a public service feature of the news, we announce to relatives, friends and family the demise  of Jose “Peping” Monungolh Butalid.

Butalid passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the age of 100 years old, according to information.

His wake is at Funeraria Gomez and burial rites will be tomorrow, Tuesday, March 8, 2022 after a Holy Mass at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Anthony de Padua Parish, Pob. 3,Tagbilaran City.

His children are: +Richard Butalid and spouse Dinia Marie and Butalid Melnard and spouse Jeline.

His granddaughters are Genevieve (and spouse is Nick Hanson) and Mei Lynne Dorothee (and spouse is Daryl Josef.

His grandsons are Julian and Kirin Hanson.
