Red Cross volunteer gets arrested after selling alleged shabu in Tagb

A Philippine Red Cross volunteer got arrested following a buy-bust operation, the police said in a report released on March 11, 2022.

Report indicates that the police seized around P170,000 worth of suspected shabu.

Tagbilaran City police identified the suspect as a certain Esterlito Candol, 34, of barangay Dampas, Tagbilaran City.

The report said the police conducted a buy bust operation against the suspect on March 8, 2022.

The suspect was reportedly still wearing his Philippine Red Cross uniform when he was arrested by anti-narotics agents.

The agents seized five plastic packs allegedly containing shabu with a total weight of 25 grams.

The suspect is now facing charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs of 2002.
