A reboot of the Batman film franchise where the masked vigilante uncovers corruption in Gotham City while pursuing the serial killer Riddler, “The Batman” is still showing at ICM Screenville Cinema 2 and Alturas Mall Screenville Cinema 1.
During his second year of fighting crime, Batman (Robert Pattenson-“Twilight” films) pursues the Riddler (Paul Dano), a serial killer who targets elite Gotham City citizens. Batman uncovers corruption that connects to his own family during the investigation, and is forced to make new allies to catch the Riddler and bring the corrupt to justice.
The Riddler livestreams his crimes and seeks to unmask the truth about Gotham, taunting Batman and law enforcement alike with riddles.
