A Boholano is new PFD secretary

A Boholano assumed the position of Philippine Federation of the Deaf (PFD) secretary, according to reports released on March 14, 2022.

Jesdelton S. Romo replaces Henry “Bibo” Lee Perey  as the organization’s secretary.

Romo leaves his position as PFD Visayan Representative and is replaced by Christian Phyliis Dalida from Iloilo City.

Perey is the longest-serving secretary of the PFD. He served as secretary for 7 years spanning the period from 2015 to 2022.

Moreover, prior to his tenure as secrtary, he served the PFP as a Luzon representative from 2011 to 2015.

The PFD is a non-stock, non-profit organization which caters to the general needs of deaf people in the Philippines.
