BBM camp releases info on platform (Part 2)

The camp of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has released some insights about his platform of government. The first part of the platform was released on the Mar. 13, 2022 edition of this paper and now we are releasing Part 2.

The insights on the platform were provided to The Bohol Tribune by the One Bohol BBM-SARA grand alliance which is led by its president Cylwin Bomediano.

On the second part this article, the focus is on the areas of industrialization, continuing the legacy programs of the Duterte administration, healthcare, employment, and agriculture.

INDUSTRIALIZATION

In the area of industrialization and energy, Marcos Jr. is pushing towards the transition into an Agri-Industrial Economy. He is looking to build facilities that generate renewable energy from natural sources.

CONTINUING THE DUTERTE ADMINISTRATION PROGRAMS

He is also going to continue the modernization of the Armed Forces of the Philippines as well as the Build, Build, Build program of the Duterte administration.

HEALTHCARE

In the healthcare sector, he will build more Rural Health Units, and provide free healthcare for senior citizens. He is going to allocate a bigger budget for medical research and development.

Marcos Jr. will ensure that health education gets prioritized via more scholarship programs for those who want to become medical doctors.

EDUCATION

The candidate known as BBM, will prioritize education with the creation of more Teacher Development Programs, Trainings, and Refresher Courses.

He is also pushing for salary increase for public school teachers, aside from expanded free internet access in public spaces.

EMPLOYMENT

Marcos Jr. places a huge premium on creating more jobs and ensuring job security. He will also help the micro, small and medium enterprises so they can create more employment.AGRICULTURE

Agriculture and food security occupy a special place in BBM’s platform making it easier for farmers to access loans, better research and development in agriculture, irrigation, farmer training and post-harvest facilities.
