Tagb continues vaccination drive among aged 12 years and older

Tagbilaran City is continuing its vaccination rollout especially among residents aged 12 years old and older, according to the City Media Bureau.

The rollout continues even if Tagbilaran City has already hit its vaccination targets.

As of February 5, 2022, Tagbilaran City was able to fully vaccinate 115.78% of its target population as mandated by the Department of Health (DOH), according to City Health Officer Robin Culpa.

As a result and based on the data on March 22, 2022, Tagbilaran City has recorded only two active Coronavirus disease (Covid) cases, where one of the cases is asymptomatic and the other case is moderate. Both are isolated and are being closely monitored by authorities.

The city concluded vaccination rollout for 12 years old and older at the Bohol Quality Mall, Alta Citta Mall, and Island City Mall on March 21 to March 25, 2022.

The City Health Office also administers COVID-19 vaccine during weekdays.
City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II reminded the Tagbilaranons that the threat of the COVID-19 infection is still in our midst.  Thus, mindfulness of the minimum health protocol such as the washing of hands, wearing of masks, and physical distancing, should be strictly observed.
