Man found dead in waters off Candijay town, report says

A report says that a dead man was found with its body floating off the waters of Candijay town on March 22, 2022 in an apparent drowning incident.

A report indicated that Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) commander in Candijay, Petty Officer 3rd Class Ronel Banol, has identified the drowning victim as a certain Romeo Orapa, 40.

Orapa’s dead body was found off the shallow waters of barangay Cogtong.

Initial investigation revealed that there is no indication that there’s foul play involved in the death of Orapa.

Probers believe that Orapa may have died the night before due to drowning.

Reports indicate that Orapa’s remains have been claimed by the dead person’s kin.
