Tagbilaran City and 8 other Bohol towns are under Alert Level 1 until April 15, 2022, according to the national Inter Agency Task Force on Mar. 31, 2022.

The rest of Bohol province remains under Alert Level 2, according to Presidential Spokesman Sec. Martin Andanar.

The towns of Batuan, Corella, Dimiao, Jagna, Lila, Loay, Loboc and Sikatuna are now under Alert Level 1.

Areas under Alert Level 1 which are establishments and government offices, are allowed to operate in full capacity as public health standards remain in effect.

Other areas in Region VII under Alert Level 1 are Dumaguete City, Cebu City, Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City and Siquijor.

The IATF also said that the National Capital Region and some parts of the country are under Alert Level 1.

According to Provincial Administrator Kathyrin Pioquinto, each Alert Level status of local government units (LGU) is now based on certain criteria foremost of which is the vaccine rollout accomplishment.

The LGUs with high vaccine rollout accomplishment are deemed to be under Alert Level 1, Pioquinto explained.

She said Bohol has yet to inoculate 70% of its target population.

Based on the data released by the Bohol IATF on Mar. 31, 2022, the vaccination rate of Bohol stands at 62.79%.
