Boholano youth to get training, job opportunities

Around 1,200 young people are set to receive training and job opportunities from YouthWorks PH in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) and online jobs website, FastJobs.PH, according to a report.

The report added that the partnership, worth P1.5 million, will expand YouthWorks PH’s reach by having Bohol as its newest recruitment and training site.

The PGBh is going to facilitate the government-industry-academe partnership to promote skills development for at least 600 young Boholanos.

Meanwhile, employment website, FastJobs.PH will provide access to job seekers wishing to do research or engage in work-based training programs and be equipped with the necessary skills and connections to gain employment.

“At least 600 blue-collar job opportunities await the youth in 40 companies in the food and beverage services, manufacturing, retail, sales and logistics sector,” YouthWorks PH said in a statement.
