The Pundok Padayon Bol-anon, led by Gov. Arthur Yap, continues to display its formidable force in 3 towns of the second district which is the bailiwick of Cong. Erico Aristotle Aumentado, Yap’s main contender in the gubernatorial race.
On April 5, 2022, the Padayon Bol-anon team visited the towns of Danao, Sagbayan and Inabanga, all located at the 2nd district of Bohol.
Incumbent Danao mayor Jose Cepedoza and current Inabanga mayor Josephine Soccoro Jumamoy welcomed the Padayon Bol-anon team in the sorties held in the said towns.
Cepedoza and Jumamoy are members of Padayon Bol-anon.
Cepedoza is running unopposed as mayor of Danao. Mayor Jumamoy is gunning for the vice mayorality seat while her son Councilor Jono Jumamoy is the Padayon Bol-anon’s bet for mayor of Inabanga this May 2022 polls.
Mayor Jumamoy’s daughter, former Senior Board Member Jovanna Jumamoy, is Padayon Bol-anon’s bet for the 2nd district representative.
On the other hand, former Sagbayan mayor Jimmy Torrefranca hosted Padayon Bol-anon’s campaign stop in the said municipality.
Torrefranca, a member of Padayon Bol-anon, is mounting a comeback as Sagbayan mayor.
He is going up against incumbent mayor Restituto Suarez who is Rep. Aumentado’s candidate for local chief executive of Sagbayan.
For his part, Yap said he was elated upon seeing the warm reception of the residents from the aforementioned 3 towns.
“Malipayon kita nga nakighimamat kaninyo. Ang inyong mainitong pagdawat sa atong Pundok sa Padayon Bol-anon nakahatag ug dugang kadasig ug kaisog kanato nga mopadayon,” the governor said in a statement.
The governor added: “Dili ta perpekto nga pagka Amahan, apan laumi ninyo, dili ko mohunong sa pagpangita ug paagi ug solusyon aron matabangan ug mahatag nato ang mga panginahanglan sa atong katawhan nga gipangga ug gi-alagaran.”
