Bohol Poll: Many Boholanos see hope for Bohol

In the latest Bohol poll result, Boholanos say there is hope for Bohol. Pollsters asked Boholanos who participated in the Bohol Poll if they agree or disagree to the statement “There is no hope for Bohol”.

The survey says that about 74% of the respondents disagree with the statement that there is no hope for Bohol.

This belies the perception being peddled that Bohol has no hope in the horizon.

The Provincial Goverhment of Bohol (PGBh) has been working hard to improve the lives of the Boholanos.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic and the recent typhoon, more Boholanos remain optimistic that their lives will improve soon.

The same survey says that 6% of respondents say there is no hope in Bohol while 20% of people polled are undecided.

This means there is a -68% net disagreement among those who polled that there is no hope for Bohol.

Data prove Boholanos right as economic indicators show there is hope in the province.

Bohol’s poverty incidence dropped from a high of 36.6% in 2009 to 15% in 2018, according to PGBh data.
