“The Secrets of Dumbledore” at Screenville Cinemas

The third instalment in the film series and the sequel to “Fantastic Beasts; the Crimes of Grindelwald”, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.  

Set several years after the events of “The Crimes of Grindelwald”, the film follows Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law-“A.I. Artificial Intelligence”) tasking Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and his allies with a mission leading to a clash with Grindelwald’s army. 

Dumbledore is an extremely powerful and influential wizard known for his academic brilliance, and teacher of Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, while Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is an infamous powerful dark wizard who caused mass violence, terror and chaos around the globe, seeking to lead a new world order based on his strong belief in wizarding superiority.

“The Lost City” at Screenville Cinemas

A brilliant novelist is kidnapped by a billionaire who wants to find the lost ancient city depicted in one of her books in the adventure film, “The Lost City”, now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.    

Author Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock-“Miss Congeniality”) has spent her career writing about exotic places in her popular romance-adventure novels featuring handsome cover model Alan (Channing Tatum-“Step-Up”).   

While on tour promoting her new book, Loretta is abducted by a rich  criminal (Daniel Radcliffe-“Harry Potter” films) who hopes that she can lead him to the hidden treasure she has written about in her fictional stories.   

Wanting to prove that he can be a hero in real life and not just on the pages of her books, Alan sets off to rescue her. Thrust into an epic jungle adventure, the unlikely pair will need to work together to survive the elements and find the ancient treasure before it’s lost forever.

“THE LOST CITY” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
