To attract more tourism activities in Tagbilaran, the City Tourism Office mounted a colorful signage at the Friendship Park in barangay Bool.
The sign is overlooking the park, and serves as a beacon to attract visitors to the area.

City Tourism Office May Hope “Dice” Arcenal said the signage is just one of the initiatives of the City Government of Tagbilaran to jumpstart tourism activities, sidetracked by the Coronavirus disease (Covid) pandemic.
With the easing of alert levels, fully-vaccinated visitors can now visit Tagbilaran City, without having to comply with the strict health protocol.

Before the pandemic, Tagbilaran City enjoyed huge revenues from tourism-related activities.

The income coming from tourism-related activities greatly contributed to the City Government’s coffers.
This year, Tagbilaran City intends to maximize its tourism potentials through tourism-related initiatives, according to Arcenal.
