Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos remains confident Pundok Padayon Bol-anon is going to march towards victory on May 9, 2022.
As this develops, the vice governor sees the results of the new Bohol Poll 2022 as a tool for “last minute moves” to achieve the end goal which is victory for the candidates of the coalition which is led by Gov. Arthur Yap and himself.
He said this during a radio interview on May 6, 2022 over Open Forum hosted by Dave Albarado.
He considers the latest survey results of the Holy Name University (HNU)-Center for Research and Publications (CRP) as a “wake-up call” to work on things and ensure the coalition’s victory in Monday’s polls.
“Makahatag kining latest resulta ug usa ka wake-up call kanato sa remaining 2 days nga manlimbasog ug maningkamot nga mapabilin nato ang atong advantage,” he said.
Relampagos said that the survey is a useful tool in order to provide Padayon Bol-anon indicators on which last minute measures to take before the polling places open in less than 24 hours.
“Malipayon kita nga gihimo sa Holy Name University, ang lain pa nga survey. In which case, magahatag kini nato ug instrumento o hinigiban nga naa tay objective ug scientific basis mahitungod sa atong ipursue nga mga last minute moves, mga last minute nga measures aron makab-ot nato ang atong objective ug mao kana ang kadaugan,” Relampagos mentioned in the radio interview.
For his part, Relampagos thanked the Boholanos for their support in his reelection bid as vice governor.
“Una sa tanan, para sa akong kabahin, pasalamat gihapon ko sa katawhan sa Bohol nga nagpabilin nga consistent ang resulta sa mga surveys nga gipanghimo nga kanunay naguna kita kun itandi sa atong kaatbang,” he told Albarado.
In a press statement, Relampagos remains thankful to the Boholanos for their continued trust in his leadership.
Relampagos also says that his survey result is a manifestation that the Boholano people recognize honest and dedicated public service despite the constant disinformation attacks aimed at undermining the Yap-Relampagos administration.
Relampagos encouraged Boholanos to cast their votes on Monday, May 9.
“Despite my lead, I am not and will never be complacent. As such, I encourage our dear Boholanos to vote for the only number that truly matters is the result of the 2022 elections. I encourage everyone to cast their vote with the speedy recovery of Bohol and the welfare of our people in mind,” the vice governor said in a statement sent to The Bohol Tribune.
