BBM-Sara win in Bohol

The tandem of apparent president-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and apparent vice president-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio is the choice of the majority of the Boholano voters despite being unable to visit the province during the campaign period.

The total voter turnout in Bohol is 88.17% where 837,470 actually voted on Election Day out of the 949,791 registered voters, according to the data from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Bohol.

The same data show that Marcos amassed 501,637 votes while Duterte garnered 594,024 votes.

Marcos leads in the tally over his closest pursuer outgoing vice president Leni Robredo who managed to earn 141, 018 votes.

As for the results for the other presidentiables, Sen. Manny Pacquiao gained 88,938 votes, Manila mayor Isko Moreno with 27, 334 votes and Sen. Ping Lacson comes in at 5th place with 13,058 votes.

On the other hand, in the vice presidential race, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan is trailing Duterte with 75,125 votes, Sen. Tito Sotto who had 59,894 votes, Dr. Wilie Ong comes in at 4th place with 13,644 votes and Lito Atienza with 4,820 votes.

Meanwhile, the top 12 senatorial candidates who gained the most number of votes in Bohol are: Robin Padilla (388,234), Raffy Tulfo (344,434), Alan Cayetano (337,334), Loren Legarda (331,407), Miguel Zubiri (309,240), Mark Villar (309,125), Francis Escudero (290,899), Sherwin Gachalian (269,895), Joel Villanueva (262,852), Risa Hontiveros (214,902), JV Ejercito (208,061) and Harry Roque (198,448).
