A PAL plane from Bohol for Manila encounters slight trouble

A Philippine Airlines (PAL) aircraft, bound for Manila, had to return back to Bohol Panglao International Airport (BPIA) after encountering a technical problem.

According to one of the passengers, Benjie Oliva, a small valve in the engine opened.

This caused the plane to return to the airport, Oliva said.

He added that the problem has been addressed and the plane will resume its flght once the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) gives its go-signal.

The plane, flight PR 2774, was supposed to depart from Panglao at 10:55 am bound for Manila.
