He then confirmed to The Bohol Tribune that the plane was diverted and had landed at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

He added that airline personnel have not divulged the reason why the plane bound for Manila was diverted to Cebu.

Oliva said the same plane will be used for a flight for South Korea and the United States.

However, with the delay, the flight to the said international destinations are delayed, he said.

Aside from Oliva, another passenger on board the said flight for Manila is Bohol governor-elect Erico Aristotle Aumentado, according to Oliva’s post.
