New Balilihan VM tags healthcare as a priority of the SB

The vice mayor-elect of Balilihan bared that healthcare programs should be a priority of the town’s legislative branch of government.

Lawyer Trisha Chatto revealed her plans in a radio interview over Open Forum on May 16, 2022, hosted by Ardy Araneta-Batoy and Gloria Leodivica Araneta.

She pointed out the healthcare programs as among the priorities of the Sangguniang Bayan (SB), which is the legislative body of the local government unit of Balilihan.

“Dapat usa sya [healthcare] ang angay hatagan ug pagtagad sa atong Sangguniang Bayan,” she said.

The neophyte politician added that she would focus on preventive health programs than curative health plans by promoting good healthy habits among the people of Balilihan.

Meanwhile, Chatto said that the issue on water supply in the town is an ongoing project and will soon provide adequate supply to all barangays of Balilihan.

She said the waterworks program of the town is now entering phase 2, after the completion of phase 1.
