Dauis LGU to release aid to senior citizens, PWD

The local government unit (LGU) of Dauis announced that it is set to release the financial assistance to each registered senior citizen and person with disabilities (PWD), according to Mayor Marietta Sumaylo.

Sumaylo said that registered senior citizens and PWDs in the town are entitled to a cash assistance of P2,500 each.

The venue of the payout, tomorrow, June 2, 2022, is at the Dauis gymnasium from 9 am to 3 pm as senior citizens and PWDs from barangays Poblacion and
Mayacabac are scheduled first.

The senior citizens from Tabalong and Bingag are set to receive their cash aid on June 3, 2022 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Tabalong Covered Court.

On Saturday June 4, 2022, the senior citizens and PWDs residing at barangays Dao and Tinago will receive their financial assistance at the Tinago Covered Court from 8 am to 12 noon, while the beneficiaries from Mariveles and San Isidro are going to get their assistance at the same venue starting at 1 pm.

Moreover, on June 5, 2022, the senior citizens from Biking and Catarman will receive their cash aid starting at 8 am at the Catarman Covered Court while the PWDs of the said barangays need to visit the Dauis gym starting at 8 am for the release of their financial assistance.

Furthermore, on June 6, 2022, the senior citizen and PWD beneficiaries from barangays Songculan and Totolan are requested to troop to the Songkulan Covered Court from 9am to 3 pm.

The beneficiaries are requested to bring their respective senior citizen/PWD ID (original) and photocopy, said Sumaylo.
