Trinidad’s most wanted person falls in police’s hands

Police arrested a rape suspect who is considered as Trinidad town ‘s most wanted person, according to police reports released on June 2, 2022.

Police identified the suspect as Joselito Bantilan, 58, of Purok 3, Brgy. Hinlayagan Ilaya, Trinidad.

The suspect was arrested in the morning of June 1, 2022.

According to reports, the police served the arrest warrant to the suspect who is accused of two counts of qualified rape.

Furthermore, the suspect is allegedly being accused of acts of lasciviousness.

The arrest warant was issued by Judge Azucena Macalolot-Credo  of Regional Trial Court branch 101 based in Talibon town.

Police say that the suspect remained at his barangay and did not go into hiding.

The suspect is currently under the custody of the police, the reports reveal.
