Governor-elect Erico Aristotle Aumentado explored opportunities for Bohol in an “intense” meeting with tycoon Manny V. Pangilinan, who is also known as MVP.
The governor-elect revealed information about the meeting with Pangilinan in a Facebook post on June 3, 2022.
“Intense meeting with Manny V. Pangilinan with his business conglomerate on how they can be helpful in our province of Bohol,” Aumentado said in his post.
“I asked them to include Bohol in their investment plan. MVP has decided to visit our province,” he added.
The governor-elect mentioned the areas of power, water, golf course, economic zone, agriculture, tourism, medical facilities, information technology and communications, which could be explored by the MVP group.
The MVP group is involved in the areas of power, water, telecommunications, infrastructure, and medical facilities among others, according to reports.
Moreover, Aumentado has been reported to be reaching out to potential investors to come to Bohol as he is set to assume office as the province’s new governor by June 30, 2022.
