Poultry raisers in Tagbilaran City can now avail of the egg incubation service o in the City Agriculture and Veterinary Office (CAVO).
Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
The services would facilitate an ideal method for 100% egg development; it will also offer custom hatching services to Tagbilaranons who need the service, securing the food requirement and livelihood of the poultry raisers based in the city.
The City Government’s livelihood program, which was launched during the peak of the pandemic, aimed in helping the marginalized women earn income for themselves.

thanked those who were actively involved in laying out the
foundation of the group.
“The City Government is grateful to the active involvement of the barangays. Their engagement has given us inspiration to find creative ways to do business. The partnerships we have forged with different organizations have provided an avenue of growth. This collaboration plays a pivotal role in our goal of would-be entrepreneurs to be self-sufficient and productive”, Yap said
The livelihood project is supported by the Department of Agriculture (DA) Region 7 thru former Regional Director Salvador Diputado.
City Gov’t provides free flu vaccines to eligible individuals

As part of the continuous precautionary measures against the threat of Coronavirus disease (Covid), the City Government of Tagbilaran providedfree flu vaccines to the City Government employees, indigent senior citizens, and kids below 5 years old, according to a report from the City Media Bureau.
City Health Officer Dr. Jeia Pondoc along with her team from the City Health Office (CHO) administered the flu shot to the beneficiaries.
City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II said this activity aims to provide additional protection against health issues.
“Although no medicine has been discovered yet to cure COVID-19, the methods that we all observe like social distancing, staying home, and washing of hands are proven ways in reducing our chances of catching the virus and spreading itto our loved ones and within our community. Further, the administration of the COVID-19 vaccines has greatly contributed in the decline of cases,” Mayor Yap said.
According to studies, flu vaccination can also help improve our immune response.
Dr. Pondoc reiterated that the activity is a reinforcement of the City Government’s COVID-19 vaccination program.
