With few days left in his term, Gov. Arthur Yap gives another legacy, this time in the form of pieces of heavy equipment being turned over to the provincial motorpool.
Yap turned over 32 units of heavy equipment at the Capitol on June 7, 2022, according to reports.
The last time the provincial government had new heavy equipment was in 2009.
Engr. Abraham Clarin of the provincial motorpool officially received the new pieces of
heavy equipment which include 16 units of dump truck, 6 units of road roller, 5 units of road grader, 4 units of backhoe, and a bulldozer.
According to Clarin, he is thankful to the Yap-Relampagos administration for the new heavy equipment as the old ones frequently bog down and spend a lot of time at the repair shop.
Moreover, Clarin said that he is going to exert much effort to ensure that the new heavy equipment are properly maintained.
Furthermore, Yap said that the new pieces of equipment will be used in the construction of more farm-to-market roads in the province.
