Some vendors in Bohol were provided with tools and bicycles for their vending and delivery business by the Department of Labor and Employment-7 (DOLE-7), according to a report from the Philippine News Agency.
The report adds that each vendor received P25,000 worth of package assistance from DOLE-7, which includes: a mountain bike with lights and horn, insulator bag, helmet, reflector vest, tumbler, cellphone, and a prepaid load card worth P2,900.
A separate report mentioned that in Bohol, around 11 workers were beneficiaries of the project.
The beneficiaries were able to get their bikes and other materials at the DOLE’s Bohol field office, the report bares.
The beneficiaries are from Getafe, Valencia, Danao, Antequera, and Anda.
The pieces of equipment are given under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), the report said.
It was also mentioned in the report that the beneficiaries are also fully vaccinated.
