Gov. Arthur Yap led the turnover and inauguration of the Poblacion (Carmen)-Vallehermoso road in Carmen town on June 23, 2022, according to reports.
The road project has a total budget of P30 million, according to the same reports.
Moreover, Yap is thankful to the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for providing funds for the said road project.
The governor said the road will immensely help farmers as they bring their produce to the market easier.
DILG regional director Leocadio Trovela said one of the reasons the department provided the funds for the road project is due to the fact the provincial government was able to bag the Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping.
