The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Dauis broke ground on 2 mega projects which will be undertaken by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The groundbreaking ceremonies were held on June 25, 2022, according to reports released on June 27, 2022.
The first mega project is the installation of solar light emitting diode (LED) lights from Poblacion Dauis to Mariveles, Tinago main road.
The 2nd mega project is the installation of solar LED lights from AA BBQ road to Totolan, Songkulan, Tabalong Bingag main road.
Outgoing mayor Marietta Sumaylo thanked Cong. Edgar Chatto and the DPWH for facilitating the project for Dauis.
