The Bohol Youth Home is a facility for children in conflict with the law (CICL), according to the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development (OPSWD).

Moreover, Yap is elated to realize that such facility is done within his term. It can be remembered that his administration has prioritized the needs and welfare of the youth by way of the Laum program.

The facility is realized through the cooperation of the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) and the local government unit (LGU) of Cortes.

Yap also acknowledged the support of Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos and Cong. Edgar Chatto in realizing the said project. The concept of a Bohol Youth Home started during the time of Chatto as governor of Bohol.

Aside from Yap, Relampagos and Chatto, other personalities who attended the inauguration were Cortes mayor Lynn Iven Lim and LGU officials.

Meanwhile, Yap also attended the turnover rites of the J. Decasa – A. Tiongco – J. Borja Streets  in Batuan town on June 23, 2022.

For the governor, the rehabilitated road is a path towards additional development for the said town.
