Balilihan continues to bloom and boom with progress
As they say, there is a time for everything: a time to smile, a time to sow and a time to reap. Balilihan is now in its time to rejoice as it faces a new horizon with renewed hope of a better tomorrow for its residents.
On June 25, 2022, the newly-elected officials of the local government unit of Balilihan
took their respective oaths of office as they officially started their tasks as public servants. Balilihan is perhaps one of the towns, if not the only town in Bohol, with a complete
sweep of positions, with all the winners coming from the same ticket.
Mayor Pureza Veloso-Chatto and Vice Mayor Trisha Chatto are now at the helm at the
Balilihan Presidencia with Padayon Balilihan councilors: Mayan Chatto, Edgar Asilo, Lorenzo Baliong, Tito Libatona, Bernie Lansang, Nick Ale, Stephen Racho and Eleseo Pabe Jr. Mayor Pureza is now on her third and final term. She is expected to continue bringing on progress
and prosperity to the town despite having a small budget and scant resources. These obstacles are not seen as hindrances to a successful administrations as she believes that all challenges can be converted into opportunities which can benefit the people of Balilihan.
The future of Balilihan is already bright and it becomes brighter with the installation of Padayon Balilihan stalwarts in power.
